Pre-certified Appliances

Add-On Data has a standard platform of pre-certified appliances that are available to you at a significant savings – 70% less than having to certify a new appliance – saving you money and helping you shorten your time to market is what we strive for. If you are unable to utilize our pre-certified appliances we have the expertise to facilitate that process for you.

CE Mark

The CE Mark is required for all non-European companies that plan to sell their appliances in the European Union (EU) and/or European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) countries. Add-On Data has the ability to act as your Authorized Representative to register your appliance with the CE Mark.

UL Certification

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certification of electrical products is required by many large and mid-size organizations in the United States. Add-On Data can help you facilitate obtaining this certification and even expedite it if necessary.

RoHS Directive

As of July 1, 2006, the Restriction on Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) bans the sale of electrical or electronic products that contain more than the allowable amount of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), or polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants. Add-On Data will design your appliance to meet the RoHS Directives and help you obtain the necessary certification to sell these products throughout the European Union.

FCC Certification

The FCC requires that all customer-premise (FCC Part 15) and network-attached (FCC Part 68) telecom equipment sold in the U.S. must meet minimum compliance standards. Part 15 requires emissions testing to prevent harmful radio interference, and Part 68 testing is designed to prevent basic harms-to-the-network such as hazardous voltages.
